Transportation & parking
If you are arriving by car: you will collect your allocated guest ticket(s) from the Wristband Collection Point in Sports Pavillion on the Whiteknights campus, after you have parked in Car Park 1A. You should then get the shuttle bus to the London Road campus.
If you are arriving via another mode of transport or you have pre-booked accessible parking: you should arrive directly to the London Road campus and collect your guest ticket(s) from the Wristband Collection Point in the large marquee on the central quad of this campus.
Extra tickets
Extra tickets, if available, will be released from the Wristband Collection Points from 2 hours before your ceremony ONLY - none will be allocated in advance. (Maximum 2 extra per graduand).
Guests without tickets or not in attendance can watch the ceremony from signposted Livestream rooms on both campuses, or alternatively via the livestream.
When you arrive
Students: On arrival to the London Road campus, you should head straight to robe collection in Building 22, dropping your guests to the main marquee on the way, where they can relax and get refreshments. Ede & Ravenscroft will scan your QR code and help you to dress in your academic gown, hood and hat. If you have not pre-ordered, you will be able to make an on the day hire order.
Once dressed, you should proceed to the Student Processions Marquee by the time stated in the above timetable to be registered and lined up in the correct order for your ceremony. If you arrive late, you may not be able to take part in your ceremony, however we will endeavour to include you in the next one.
Guests should make their way to the guest entrance of the Great Hall at the time stated above. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
The ceremony will last approximately 40 – 60 minutes.
Following your ceremony, you should get the shuttle bus to the Celebration Zone on the Whiteknights campus. This is a good time to have official Ede & Ravenscroft studio photos taken, chat to the Alumni team, and browse our retailers.
Photographic services will be available in the Celebration Zone. You can book indoor graduation photography in advance with Ede & Ravenscroft online or by telephone on 01223 734759.
Recordings of the ceremonies will be available for free from the . Please note it may take several weeks following the ceremonies for these recordings to be uploaded and made available.
Photographs taken of you on the stage as you received your award will be available in the Celebration Zone for collection shortly after your ceremony. Other dedicated locations to take memorable photos with your friends, family and course mates will also be signposted in the area.
You must remember to return your robes to 3Sixty in the Students' Union before leaving the campus for the day.
